Driving from Detroit to Houston and my dodge takes a dump about a mile out of Texarkana. I google diesel mechanic and the best thing that ever happened to me came up. Well... the best thing mechanic-wise. I limp into the shop. Tell him what's wrong and what I need. They hop on the phone and have the parts on the way. It's going to be overnight. I get to hang at the shop and discover the coolest group of guys (and a lovely lady) who make me feel welcome instead of stranded.

The owner gets a few minutes and drives me to a hotel so I don't have to wait on a shuttle or pay for a cab. Waits for me at the first hotel and takes me to the second because they were full.

Calls the next day and says the truck is ready. Grabs me and brings me back over. I hop in and it's a new truck. No tuned truck has ever blown me away.... until then. It was wide awake but subtle. He ran down the list of things done and I thought it was going to be $10k... barely a fraction of that. I would've paid the ten grand and been happy!

Best part is that the other guys at MY shop couldn't believe how well it ran and took theirs back to the shops that programmed their trucks and demanded better!!! On top of the fact that most of them paid nearly 3 times as much for some clown to just run the same cookie-cutter program, they install on every customer.

A little shop in Texarkana Arkansas with a friendly family approach to working on your truck. More than affordable. I wish them all the best of luck (not that it's needed with that talent) and will bring all my future diesel 4 hours north because I know, without a doubt, that the shop that's in it for quality and not a big dollar tune is just across the state line in Texarkana.
